Senior Process Engineer, London

Our flat organizational structure brings together a team of highly skilful engineers, working in a dynamic and technology driven environment. We are now seeking to identify and employ a Senior Process Engineer for our London office.

This position will involve some traveling. You will be working on various types of projects and studies for our international list of clients. You will be responsible for conducting process engineering and flow assurance studies as part of feasibility, concept and FEED projects for onshore and offshore developments and you will also be involved in other types of studies including risk assessment. You will be working in teams and sometimes working individually. You will also attend workshops and be client-facing. The predominant industry is oil and gas and also renewable energy. You will be conversant with facilities definition and general facilities engineering for onshore and offshore developments and you will have a good understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) issues on projects. Experience in business risk assessment, value engineering and workshopping would be a benefit. You will be analytical and have experience with process engineering modeling. You will be innovative in project process selection and keen to apply new technology. You will be very comfortable with writing study reports. You will be keen to contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic consultancy.

Ideal applicants will have an excellent track record of academic and professional achievements:

• You should have a PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering or other relevant subject.
• You should have minimum 10 years experience in process engineering for the oil and gas industry. That will include experience in some or all of the following types of studies: feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, process analysis, dynamic process simulation, flow assurance studies, equipment definition, equipment layout definition, PFD and P&ID generation, value engineering, risk analysis, hazard and operability review.
• You will be familiar with the use of industry software for process analysis and flow assurance.
• You will be analytical.
• You will be keen to apply new technologies.
• You will be eager to learn and be a self-starter.
• You will want to contribute to building the company and coaching younger engineers.
• You will be ambitious and serious about your career.
• You will have excellent skills in oral and written English.
